Ya’ll.  Atlanta is hot.  No, not just glitz and glam, and SPICY…actually it feels like continuously stepping into a sauna.  However, the real heat this weekend came from Stephanie and Chris as they said their “I Do’s” at the beautiful Atlanta Botanical Gardens on Saturday! I was blown away by a few things, so let me gather my thoughts quickly for you:

  1.  This family is B E A U T I F U L. Like, wow! From the inside and out, you can tell that they care so much about each person they come in contact with, they love each other, their boys, and God. Beauty just radiates from both Stephanie and Chris, and they have such infectious smiles and adoration for each other. It was truly so touching!
  2. Did anyone else realize how expansive the Atlanta Botanical Gardens were? Because it’s really big, and while I enjoyed my time walking the grounds and seeing the different sites, I couldn’t help but realize I don’t think I ever want to own my garden (besides the fact that the plants might die). But seriously, if you’ve never been during your time in Atlanta, it’s a must see! If you’re still shopping for venues, I 12/10 recommend this venue. They have multiple options for ceremony and reception spaces, and they are each unique and insanely gorgeous.  Chris and Stephanie chose the Fragrance Garden for their nuptials, and it actually did smell amazing (but not in that irritating way), was connected to the COOLEST conservatory ever, and provided such a beautiful, intimate space for them to say, “I do,” with their immediate family, and bridal party.
  3. Chris and Stephanie had the best vendors ever! I know I preach this a lot, but choosing. the. right. vendors. matters. so. dang. much.  Your day should go so flawlessly, that if something went wrong, you would have never known about it.  The best way to do this, is to hire the right planner.  This sweet couple chose Alicia Wallace, owner of ACE Creative Events, and she helped execute their vision flawlessly.  Her task list was a mile long, but also included providing vendors with all the information they needed, and prepping us all with a perfectly timed wedding day.  Alicia also made sure that all vendors knew to communicate with her, and kept everyone in the loop (this is SO important amongst vendors on wedding days!).  Spend the money for the day of coordinator/wedding planner.  You seriously won’t regret it, promise <3.
  4. Sometimes, less is more! Chris and Stephanie did a great job by planning a timeless, classic, and romantic wedding day.  Their colors were neutral with pops of white/ivory, greenery, and gold. I love this color palette, because it allows your vendors to truly work with a clean slate and bring in pieces that will really add some pizzaz.  Stephanie’s detail shots are my absolute favorites, because the clean palette allowed me to really use my styling kit to max capacity (don’t worry – there’s a blog coming soon about what I carry in my styling kit!).   The pops of greenery at their reception space truly transformed the venue, and really added so much organic life.

I hope you enjoy this sneak peek preview of their wedding day! Don’t worry, you’ll be seeing more of them on the website soon.  Congratulations, Stephanie and Chris. Robert and I wish you a lifetime of happiness, cheer, and joy. Thank you for letting me be part of your most special day!

And now that you’ve caught your breath from their BEAUTY!!!!!! …the reception! Stunning details and so many sweet memories!

Planner Extraordinaire, Alicia Wallace, making sure everything ran to a tee!

Thank you to all the amazing vendors that made this day possible!
